Jessica Stone's Blog
One of many blogs I keep to talk about the environment, politics, living green, and living well.
Okay, I went through that first post five minutes after posting it, and I'm noticing a bunch of errors in grammar. I apologize. One of the many hats I wear at my full time job, believe it or not, is actually Assitant Editor of a monthly publication. There is no excuse for some of the things I wrote in that last post. Not even the fact that I've had three cups of green tea this morning, which I believe is equivalent to a cup and a half of coffee (I never drink coffee, by the way, nor do I drink soda, so green tea is about the only place I get caffeine - and I don't even drink that often).
That being said, I do not very often copy edit blogs, so you'll just have to excuse them. I edit for a living, please don't make me do it elsewhere.

This site is new and I am excited to have discovered it so close to it's creation. I hope that through it I can do great things.
I don't intend to do long or even frequent blogs here, as I blog elsewhere as well, but I will try to keep up with it occasionally, as I started a group on this site in Denver, and I figure the blog can keep people who will (hopefully) one day join that group informed. For now, I suppose, I'm just going to direct you to
My other blog
http://jessimonster.wordpress.com/
A blog chronicaling (sp?) the adventures of being a single mother dedicated to living green
Other blogs/sites that inspire me

No Impact Man is a god. Yes, I said it. And, incidentally, he's the one that directed me (and his other readers, I wish I could say him and I communicate directly, but alas, I am not that cool) to this site.
http://grist.org/
This site has everything a person trying to help the environment could ever want or need.
http://beautytribute.wordpress.com/
This is my friends blog. I have other friends with cool blogs, yes, and if you want to see them there are links to them on my blog, but I point this one out here because I think it's inspirational to recognize the beauty in things that seem mundane. Even if its not totally environmental in focus.
Other organizations I belong to
The Holistic Moms Network
http://www.holisticmoms.org/
La Leche League
www.llli.org
The Sierra Club (Rocky Mountain Chapter)
www.rmc.sierraclub.org
Metro Denver Greens
http://www.metrodenvergreens.org/
Sense of Colorado (an urban farming project/CSA)
http://www.senseofcolorado.com/
So check this stuff out if you're interested, drop me a line or join the group I started, which I called South Denver We Group, but since I didn't realize that there was no We group in Colorado at all, I suppose I could have claimed all of Denver. So, join if you live anywhere in Colorado, if you want. I'm not going to reject you if you live in North Glen or anything!
