How to Call Congress

Call the Capitol Hill Switchboard (202-224-3121). Ask for the phone numbers for the two Senators from your state.

When you call, say your name, where you're calling from (so they know you live in their state), and ask to be transferred to the Senator. If he or she is not available, you can speak with a staff member or ask to leave a message.

In your call or message, you can make the following points:

• My name is _________ and I am calling from _______________.

• I am asking the Senator to support renewal of the Clean Energy Tax Incentives.

• These incentives would allow the renewable energy industry to continue growing. And they offer perfect examples of the kinds of solutions we need to solve the climate crisis.

• Please ask the Senator to give strong and active support to extending the Clean Energy Tax Incentives.

When you finish, be sure to tell us how your call went.
