Climate Inaction to Cost U.S. $3.8 Trillion a Year, Study Says

A new study found that by doing nothing to curb global warming, the U.S will lose $3.8 trillion a year by the century's end. Costs from hurricane damage, real estate losses, and higher energy and water costs alone as a result of rising temperatures and sea levels would total $1.9 trillion a year by 2100, based on today's dollar value, the study says.
